Project Overview

RPR Induction Coating Removal – HAZARDOUS Coatings Large Bridge Structure, 5000 m2 of existing thick coatings containing hazardous substances with RPR induction coating removal in a harsh marine environment.

The
Challenge

Marine Environment – remove bulk/thick coatings. Simultaneous operations, multi trades working together. Greater than 1000 Micron removed with an ABRASIVE free specification.

The RPR Approach

RPR Induction technology was deployed to complete full coating removal across 5000m2 of the bridge structure, enabling simultaneous multi-trade operations without traffic interruption and with reduced encapsulation requirements.
